About us

Our Mission

We are focused on bringing the beauty and nature of Venezuela to New York City. In times of political injustice upon Venezuelans, Casa Ora is dedicated to donating a portion of revenue to families forced to seek asylum due to a lack of human rights resources such as food, clean water, and government protection. Casa Ora has also partnered up with Emmy Award Nominated Photographer, Carlos Beltran, to feature his photographs on Venezuela in the form of art and take away postcards.

Spending the last 16 years consulting and supplying prominent New York City restaurants and bakeries, Chef Diaz teamed with son, Ivo Diaz, to create a new vision on Venezuelan cuisine and culture.

"Venezuelans are happy, loving people. I want our guests to feel that vibrant culture when they eat our food. And more importantly, to feel at home, especially for those who've become refugees of Venezuela." -Isbelis Diaz
